5 Rules to Make the Biden/Trump Debates Work
So President Joe Biden just issued a bold challenge to Donald Trump to debate as early as next month:
“Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020. Since then, he hasn’t shown up for a debate. Now he’s acting like he wants to debate again. Well, make my day pal. I’ll even do it twice. Let’s pick the dates, Donald. I hear you’re free on Wednesdays”
Oh SNAP! If you haven’t heard the expression ‘big dick energy’ before, well, this is it. Pulling a Dirty Harry and slappin’ him on the trial too?! Epic.
Biden’s challenge is a brilliant offensive move. Because Trump is known for always saying he ‘wants’ to do things — like fork over tax returns, health records and evidence that will exonerate him, or to testify at hearings and trials and, yes, show up for debates. But then he finds myriad reasons to back out: ‘the lawyers and accountants won’t let me do it’. In MAGAworld, all you need to do is talk tough and you’re the brave one. And the guy willing to show up is the weak coward.
Trump went on the offensive weeks ago, saying he wants to debate Biden. But what Biden just did is masterfully call his bluff and speed up the process.
But if these debates do get scheduled, they need new rules:
- No live audiences. No spectacle-seeking idiots for Donald…
