I’m SO Tired…(My Year-End Rant)

2020 has been an awful year. But truthfully? The prior three were no picnic either. As the year draws to an orgasmically welcome end, and as the minutes to the Donald J. Trump Reign of Terror painfully crawl toward January 20th, I confess that I’m tired of it all. I’m just fucking exhausted…

I’m exhausted by this pandemic, but more so, because Trump’s gross incompetence and negligence elongated its lifespan and let it metastasize into the biggest killer of Americans ever

I’m tired of selfish non-maskers and those who somehow believe the mask is supposed to protect the chin

I’m tired of all the “we want our life back!” whiners who can’t sacrifice anything for a few months so we can kill this deadly beast and, well, get our lives back

I’m tired of stupid people

I’m tired of cultish loyalty to a dangerous self-serving sociopath

I’m tired of Trump and his hourly displays of actual insanity

I’m tired of the Republican Senate that’s refused to stop this insanity

I’m tired of watching supposedly smart, patriotic people indulge Trump like he’s a petulant 5-year-old having a temper-tantrum and allow him to subvert every foundation of our precious democracy
