Joe Biden Should Challenge Trump to a Bike Race

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden was filmed riding a bicycle Saturday in his home state of Delaware. As he rode past a reporter who asked if he’d chosen his vice presidential running mate yet, Biden replied “Yeah, I have”.

But the real news was not that Biden’s made his VP decision. It’s that he’s a very physically-fit 77-year-old who can actually ride a bicycle. Under any stretch of the imagination, can we ever picture the woefully out-of-shape 74-year-old Donald Trump riding a bicycle?

Trump has relentlessly mocked Biden’s mental and physical health, calling him “Sleepy Joe” and questioning his fitness for the presidency.

“Biden can’t put two sentences together,” the grammatically challenged Trump (who can’t pronounce Yosemite, Thailand and who makes up words like covfefe) told Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace in July. “They wheel him out. . . . He reads a teleprompter and then he goes back into his basement.”

Asked if he believed Biden was senile, Trump replied “Let him take the same test that I took. I’ll guarantee you that Joe Biden could not answer those questions… Let Biden sit through an interview like this, he’ll be on the ground crying for mommy. He’ll say mommy, mommy, please take me home. . . . He can’t do an interview. He’s incompetent.”
