Why Israel’s Response Is Justified

It seems people are forgetting that the barbaric Hamas terrorist attack on Israel October 7th ever happened. So let me remind them: 1400 innocent Israelis were slaughtered that day in the worst massacre on Jews since the Holocaust. 4600 were injured and 200+ kidnapped. Civilians…grandmothers…dragged from their homes…beaten, tortured, shot and killed. Young festival attendees hunted down and killed like animals. Women brutally raped. Men, women and children burned alive. Babies shot, burned and beaten to death. Soldiers beheaded. Corpses dragged through the streets…their mutilated bloodied bodies spit on, desecrated and displayed like trophies.

Israel was afforded about 24–48 hours of sympathy and support before the wheels of anti-Semitism began turning again and the hatred returned. Witness the rush to blame Israel for allegedly killing 500 people in a hospital bombing that we now know was an Islamic Jihad misfire from within Gaza.

That’s because the world hates Jews. Always has, always will. Ever since the beginning of time, Jews have been on the receiving end of violent, deadly persecution. The Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, Russian pogroms, and the Holocaust are just a few of the more notable examples. And all of this occurred before the state of Israel was created.
